Midwest Veterans Closet, where it's Veterans Day EVERYDAY is a not-for-profit charity that is taking the lead in Impacting Veterans Lives by providing FREE clothing, household items, furniture, food pantry, housing as available, employment assistance,
Drop-In Center, and DIGNITY to once proud soldiers.
Located at 2323 Green Bay Road in North Chicago, IL - we're just a few blocks from the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center and Naval Station Great Lakes, the Navy's only Recruit Training Command Center.
Hours: M-F 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Midwest Veterans Closet where it is Veterans Day EVERYDAY is providing a much needed service to Veterans of all ages, once very proud soldiers. Located at 2323 Green Bay Road in North Chicago, just north of the Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center, the Midwest Veterans Closet provides FREE clothing, household items, small kitchen appliances, furniture, employment and housing assistance, and food from our Food Pantry - all when available - to Veterans. Thank you Leeward Business Solutions for the bank of NEW computers which are used for creating and updating resumes, applying for jobs online, keeping in touch with family and friends, and even for their children to do homework, in the Drop-In Center.
